Beavers Cruise To 96-45 Win Over Warner Pacific

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State cruised to a 96-45 win over Warner Pacific in a Tuesday evening exhibition game at Gill Coliseum.

Tres Tinkle led the Beavers with 19 points, while Jarod Lucas added 13 points and Alfred Hollins and Gianni Hunt scored 12 apiece.

Ethan Thompson and Sean Miller-Moore both had solid all-around games, as Thompson finished with eight points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals, and Miller-Moore nearly had a double-double with nine points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

Oregon State had 27 assists on its 34 baskets and shot 87.0 percent (20-for-23) from the free throw line.

With the game tied 8-8, the Beavers went on a 29-2 run to take a 37-10 lead at the under-8 media timeout. They led 49-18 at halftime.

Oregon State defeated Carroll College, 79-60, in its first exhibition game of the season last Wednesday.

The Beavers open their 2019-20 regular season against CSUN at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Gill Coliseum. The game will be televised live on Pac-12 Oregon.
