Part 5Â of our series getting to know this year's freshman class introduces Maddie Tetz. She is a freshman from Happy Valley, Ore. who has seen time in four games this season and taken one shot.
What is your favorite thing about playing at Oregon State?
The friends I have made being on this team.
How would you describe what it's like to play for Coach Kagan, Coach Ruiz-Williams and Coach Stirrett?
Fun! I'm learning lots from all three of them.
Does your number mean anything to you? If so, what does it mean?
To live up to the great players who have had the number before me.
If you weren't playing soccer what would you be doing?
I would be a dancer.
If you could meet one soccer play who would it be and why?
Carli Lloyd because she worked hard to get to where she is at.
What is the last movie you saw?
The Scooby-Doo Movie
Who has had the biggest influence on your soccer career?
My dad because he has always believed in me and inspired me to always do my best.
If you could have dinner with any person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My grandpa because I would want to listen to all of his stories.
When you aren't playing soccer what do you do to relax?
I take many, many naps.
What is your favorite meal to eat? Why?
My favorite meal is ribs because I normally only get it on special occasions.
What skill would you like to master?
I've always wanted to master cooking.
