Beavers To Battle Buffaloes Thursday In Boulder

THE GAME: Oregon State (12-7, 4-3 Pac-12) hits the road to play Colorado (11-8, 2-5 Pac-12) at 6 p.m. PT (7 p.m. MT) on Thursday at the CU Events Center in Boulder.

The Beavers' lone win in Boulder came on March 9, 2013 when they rallied in the second half for a 64-58 victory in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Oregon State won the only meeting between the teams last season, 76-57, on Dec. 29 at Gill Coliseum. Stephen Thompson Jr. scored a game-high 24 points and Tres Tinkle added 23. Ethan Thompson finished with 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals. Tyler Bey was the only Colorado player in double figures with 14 points.

Gligorije Rakocevic, Stephen Thompson Jr. and Tres Tinkle are the only current Beavers who have played in Boulder. Rakocevic played five minutes in 2016 and scored one point; he got the start in 2017 but didn't score. Thompson Jr. had 10 points off the bench in 2016 and scored a game-high 26 in 2017. Tinkle only played there in 2016 and finished with six points and four rebounds.
