Get to Know Maela Lazaro
The Get to Know series goes on with Maela Lazaro. Maela is a junior who busted into the balance beam lineup early in 2018 scoring 9.90 to win the event in a home win over Stanford. Since that point she has owned her spot late in the lineup and is pushing for a place in the floor lineup as well. The two-time scholastic All-American and 2018 Pac-12 All-Academic selection is majoring in BioHealth Sciences with an option in pharmacy and a minor in chemistry.
