
Baseball Receives Third Top-10 Ranking

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State baseball team will open the 2019 season ranked eighth nationally by D1Baseball.com, which released its preseason top-25 on Monday.
The Beavers are in the top-10 for the third time this year, following a No. 2 mark by Perfect Game USA and a No. 7 spot by Collegiate Baseball.
Oregon State is ranked in the top-10 by at least one poll for the fourth consecutive preseason.
Oregon State finished the 2018 season with a 55-12-1 mark, winning the program's third national title after taking two-of-three over Arkansas in the CWS Championship Series.
The Beavers open the 2019 season Feb. 15 in Surprise, Ariz. Oregon State plays its first eight games of the season in Arizona, with New Mexico (twice), Gonzaga and Minnesota as opponents the first weekend of action. OSU will then take on Nebraska in a four-game series to conclude the trip.
