Another Power 5 Conference Foe Added to Schedule

Beavers and Texas Tech to play home-and-home
Oregon State and Texas Tech have signed a home-and-home football series contract for the 2025 and '26 seasons, Beaver Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Barnes announced Thursday.

The addition of Texas Tech continues a trend for the Beavers in scheduling non-Pac-12Â Conference "Power 5" programs. Recent additions to the OSU schedule include Oklahoma State in 2019 and '20, and Purdue in 2021 and '24.

The first game of the series with Texas Tech will be played in Lubbock, Texas Sept. 13, 2025. The return game at Reser Stadium will be played Sept. 12, 2026. The games will mark the second and third meetings between the two schools in football. The only other contest was a 15-14 Texas Tech win Sept. 26, 1959 in Lubbock.
