First-year head coach Jonathan Smith will embark on his initial Oregon State spring football practice as the mentor of the Beavers, beginning April 4. OSU Athletics is excited to announce two opportunities for Beaver Nation to support the football program in person next month, including an exclusive event featuring Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Barnes, Smith and former Beaver great James Rodgers.
The team returns to the Portland Metro area Saturday, April 14 for the Dam City Showcase, presented by Kaiser Permanente, at Mountainside High School in Beaverton. The 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. practice will be open to the public, free of charge, and feature opportunities for fans to get team autographs immediately following the event on the field or if inclement weather in the commons area of the high school. The Pac-12 Sales staff will be in attendance to answer questions about ticket opportunities and take orders for the upcoming season.
Saturday, April 28 will be the annual Spring Game at Reser Stadium that is also free admission. The east side gates to Reser Stadium will open at 10:30 a.m. with an autograph session with the team from 11-11:30 a.m. on the concourse. Free posters will be available upon entrance to Reser Stadium.
Please note both autograph sessions are restricted to one autograph per person on OSU provided posters (1 per fan) only.
"We are very excited to have Beaver Nation join us for these two great days," Smith said. "It's important for our team to play in front of our great fans and I know they are excited about both events. We look forward to seeing you at Mountainside High School and Reser Stadium."
A special feature to this year's Spring Game includes Barnes, Coach Smith and current director of player development Rodgers participating in an exclusive event for season ticket holders and donors in the Toyota Club in Reser Stadium at 12:15 p.m. To attend this event please RSVP to sports.marketing@oregonstate.edu.
