
Gulich Earns ESPN All-America Honors

Senior is selected to All-America Third Team
CORVALLIS – Senior Marie Gulich added All-America honors to her growing list of accolades Sunday, as the center was named to ESPNW's All-America Third Team.

Gulich earned All-Pac-12 honors of the second-straight season this year, and was also chosen as Pac-12 Media Defensive Player of the Year. The Cologne, Germany, native has cemented her place as one of the top players in the nation, as she was named a Lisa Leslie Award semi-finalist and received a spot on the Naismith Trophy Mid-season Watch List.

Gulich is shooting 65.8 percent from the floor this season, and is averaging 17.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per contest. She currently sits 17th in Oregon State history with 1,120 career points, and is second in the Pac-12 in field goal percentage. On the defensive end, Gulich leads the Pac-12 in blocks, and is sixth in Oregon State history with 89 rejections on the season.

Gulich also became the first player in Beavers history to earn back-to-back Pac-12 Player of the Week honors, winning the award in the last two weeks of the regular season.

As a team, the Beavers will head to the NCAA Tournament with a record of 23-7, and a Pac-12 mark of 14-4.
