Hackbarth (Mililani, Hawaii) plays for the club team Leahi Premier 2000. She has helped the team win the President's Cup Regionals and Nationals in 2015, as well as the Surf Cup in 2016. At Mililani High School, Hackbarth helped her team finish third in the state in 2016 and 2017, as well as winning Oahu Interscholastic Association championships in 2016 and 2017.
"Gabrielle can play in numerous positions across the back line and out wide," Rhode said. "She has game-breaking pace, and she will create a level of competition in our team that will be great for us."
