CORVALLIS – For the fourth time in program history, the Oregon State men's soccer team has punched a ticket to the NCAA Tournament, the NCAA Selection Committee announced Monday.
Â
The Beavers will face SMU at Lorenz Field Thursday at 6 p.m. The winner of that game will advance to face Saint Mary's on Sunday.
"It's been so great to see this community rally around this team," said Oregon State head coach Terry Boss. "To have the opportunity to host this match at Lorenz, at our home field, I couldn't be happier for this team and for Beaver Nation."
Â
Tickets for Thursday's game will be available for $10 for adults, $8 for youth and seniors. You can purchase them online here.
Â
The postseason appearance will be the first for Oregon State since 2014, Boss has guided the team to the NCAA Tournament in his first season leading the team.
Â
The Beavers finished the regular season with a record of 10-5-3, the team's best win total since 2014. Oregon State also went 6-3-1 in Pac-12 play to finish the year second in the conference, recording its highest Pac-12/10 win total since 2003.
