Thank You OSU - Emery Wallerich
October 26, 2018 | Women's Soccer
This coming Sunday against Arizona State will mark the last home game for five women's soccer student-athletes. Oregon State will honor them prior to the start of the match, but before they are honored, each one will take a moment to express how they are thankful for their time here at Oregon State. Up next, Emery Wallerich:
"Dear OSU,
Thank you.
Thank you, for starters, Beaver Nation for the endless support. I will forever treasure your loud cheering and constant smiles. Thank you to the dedicated fans for watching our games through rain or shine. Your support helped push me to always do my best.
Thank you to the coaches and everyone who worked with our team in athletics to make our team so great. Thank you so much to our athletic trainer, I know our team didn't make it easy for you, but you kept us all in one piece. I think I can say for all of us we greatly appreciate you.
My biggest thank you is to my mom. You have made the biggest sacrifices for me to get to where I am today. I would not have had this amazing experience if it wasn't for you. Oregon State gave me lifelong friends that I will never forget, and I cannot thank you enough for this.
Most importantly, Beaver Nation, thank you for making my four years here at Oregon State a memory I will never forget.
Thank you OSU – Go Beavs!"
Oregon State will face Arizona State at Paul Lorenz Field on Sunday at 11 a.m. for Senior Day.
