BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Oregon State wrestling team dropped a non-conference contest at the No. 15-ranked South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Friday night inside Frost Arena, 30-13.
Oregon State drops to 2-2-0 on the season while SDSU improves to 5-2-0.

Devan Turner had a tough draw at 133-pounds. South Dakota State's Seth Gross is the No. 1- ranked wrestler in the country at the weight class, who used his experience to his advantage pinning Turner, putting SDSU ahead 6-4.
141-pound redshirt senior Jack Hathaway dropped a close decision to Henry Pohlmeyer, 5-2. The two wrestlers met at the Midlands Championships last weekend which saw Hathaway come away with a win, but Pohlmeyer got the best of Hathaway this time as the Jackrabbits now led 9-4.
