Beavers Going For Sweep Of L.A. Schools

vs. USC: Oregon State and USC meet for the 136th time in history with the Trojans leading the series, 71-64. The Beavers have won nine of the last 16 meetings after dropping seven straight from 2005 to 2008.

Oregon State holds a 40-30 advantage in games played in Corvallis. The Beavers had won seven straight at Gill Coliseum before falling last season, 70-63, in the Pac-12 opener on Dec. 28 when USC was No. 22 in the nation.

Stephen Thompson Jr. scored a game-high 24 points and Drew Eubanks posted a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds in the game in Corvallis. Ben Koné scored a career-high 10 points in the game in Los Angeles.

Be the second time since 1992-93 that Oregon State had a winning conference record through seven games (the 2014-15 team started 5-2).
Be the second time in four years the Beavers swept the L.A. schools at home.

CHASING 1,000: Oregon State has three players who have a chance to join the 1,000-point club this season. It would be the third time in program history that a team had three 1,000-point scorers.
