Geist Earns Goalkeeper of the Week Honor

Senior helped Beavers notch clean sheet in 1-0 win on Sunday

CORVALLIS – Oregon State goalkeeper Bella Geist has been named Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Geist helped the Beavers earn a 1-0 shutout win at San Francisco on Sunday. The senior came up with five saves in the contest to preserve the clean sheet. Geist leads the Pac-12 with 15 saves this season, and is closing in on Oregon State's career saves record.

Oregon State has opened the season with a 2-1-2 record, earning victories in both of its road matches this season.

The Beavers return home on Friday for a matchup with Portland State.
