Spencer Smith Tabbed as Pac-12 All-Conference

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Senior rower Spencer Smith received Pac-12 All-Conference First Team when conference awards were announced Wednesday.
Smith, who hails from Federal Way, Wash., has been a regular in the Beavers' Varsity 8 boat for the last three seasons. Last weekend, Smith raced in the stroke seat helping his crew to a first place finish in the Fourth Final, and a 20th place overall finish, at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) national championships regatta.
It is the first all-conference award of the mechanical engineering major's career.
