Junior Destiny Dawson, a Hawaii transfer redshirting this spring, took third in the javelin in 150-0. It is the second week in a row she would have established a school record were she competing attached; she threw 147-8 at Lane CC on March 17 in her OSU debut.
Junior Kerissa D'Arpino also competed unattached and took third in the 200 (24.27) and second in the 400 (55.31). Her 400 time would rank No. 3 on the all-time list.
Mt. Hood CC sophomore Danelle Woodcock, a 2017-18 signee, won the 100 (12.23) and took fifth in the long jump (17-6).
OSU will compete at the San Francisco State Distance Classic on Friday and at the Stanford Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The distance crew did not compete on Saturday.
Its next competition in Oregon is the John Knight Twilight Meet at Western Oregon on April 7. OSU's only home appearance of the year is the April 28-29 OSU High Performance Meet, at the Whyte Track and Field Center.
