Beavers Travel to Bay for Stanford, Cal

This Week
• The Beavers are on the road for the next two weekends to visit the Bay Area and Arizona.
• Oregon State takes on No. 2 Stanford (19-2, 12-0 Pac-12) on The Farm Friday at 7 p.m.
• OSU remains crosses the bay to face California (13-10, 4-8) on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Against Stanford
• The Beavers will pursue the first win against the Cardinal in program history.
Against California
• Oregon State trails the all-time series with Cal, 24-47. The Beavers extended their win streak against the Bears to six matches in early October.
It's Been a While
• Oregon State had a five-match conference win streak (UW, WSU, UA, ASU, Utah) - it's first since 1990 - snapped Saturday by Colorado.
• OSU swept the Washington schools for the first time since 1990 (10/13 & 10/15).
• The Beavers' defeat of the Huskies in Seattle was the first over UW since 2001.
• OSU earned its first weekend sweep of Arizona and Arizona State since 1996 (10/18 & 10/20).
Zwerver to Hall of Fame
• Assistant coach Ron Zwerver was announced as part of the 2017 International Volleyball Hall of Fame class. Induction is set for Nov. 18 in Holyoke, Mass.
Aces
• OSU is currently starting four freshmen - Haylie Bennett (OPP), Maddie Goings (OH), Grace Massey (L) and Kylee McLaughlin (S).
• Mary-Kate Marshall recorded 39 kills last week and now has 1,782 in her career. Last week she moved past Shelly Smith into second on OSU's all-time list. She now only trails Rachel Rourke, who had 1,920 kills from 2006-09.
• Marshall also ranks fourth in kills among active players in Division I entering the weekend.
• Entering the week, Mary-Kate Marshall is second in the Pac-12 and eighth in the nation with 5.33 points per set.
• Marshall is also second in the conference and 12th in the country with 4.61 kills per set.• Marshall was named as a Senior CLASS Award candidate recently.
• Kylee McLaughlin is the only player in the Pac-12 Conference, and one of 27 in the nation, to record a triple-double in 2017 (49 assists, 11 digs, 10 blocks) at Portland.
• Grace Massey, who moved into the starting libero spot, has recorded 111 digs during that six-match stint. That's an average of 5.55 digs per set, which would lead the Pac-12 Conference.
• Kayla Ellis registered 25 digs last week and now has 1,098 digs in her career ranking 10th on OSU's career list. She needs three to tie Ashley Evans (2005-08) for ninth.
