
Beavers Head to the Desert This Weekend

CORVALLIS, Ore. — The Oregon State women's swimming team will start the new year heading to the desert this upcoming weekend. The Beavers will compete in a tri-meet Friday before racing at Arizona State on Saturday. OSU will take on Arizona, Northern Arizona and New Mexico State on Friday starting at 11:00 a.m., in Tucson, Arizona.

Oregon State ended the 2016 year in Hawai'i, which saw five Beavers record top times in five events. Freshman Felecia Anderson highlighted the Beavs recording a first and second place finish. Juniors Allie Kilroy and Corrine Shigeta, along with seniors Jesikah Cavanaugh and Sophie MacEwanv also placed in the top five in events.

Oregon State will return to Corvallis for its final weekend of the regular season, hosting Washington State and Idaho next Friday and Saturday at the Osborn Aquatic Center.
