Kolbie Orum matches career-high with 16 points
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The No. 10/10 Oregon State women's basketball team used a 15-0 third quarter run to take control Sunday afternoon, as the Beavers wrapped up a stretch of four-straight road games with a 74-60 win over USC at the Galen Center.
"I loved our effort," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "We got to play everybody today, and I was looking for a chance to do that. I thought this was a great team win. We executed well today, and got better as the game went along. I'm excited to be 5-1 (in Pac-12 play) right now, going back home with great momentum. I'm really pleased with where we're at, we're playing some really good basketball."
Senior Kolbie Orum matched a career-high with 16 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the floor, and tallied nine rebounds to come up one short of her first career double-double. Junior Marie Gulich recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.
