Oregon State Returns to Lorenz Field, Faces No. 11 UCLA

THIS WEEK
• The Beavers continue Pac-12 Conference action this Thursday hosting No. 11 UCLA at 7:00 p.m., at Paul Lorenz Field.
• OSU will finish it's ranked-opponent streak on Sunday when it hosts No. 9 USC at 1:00 p.m. The match will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.

A WIN ON FRIDAY WOULD
• Be the 244th win in program history.
• Be the Beavers sixth win of the season and fifth at Paul Lorenz Field.
• Be OSU's fifth win against UCLA, (22nd meeting).
• Be the Beavers fifth win at home against UCLA, (13th time).
• Be HC Linus Rhode's third win over UCLA, (2010,2015).

SCOUTING THE BRUINS
• UCLA enters Thursday's game with a 7-2 overall mark and 1-0 in Pac-12 action. The Bruins are ranked No. 11 in the NSCAA Poll.
• UCLA started its Pac-12 slate last Thursday with a 2-0 victory at Arizona State.
• The Bruins are 8-2 in their last 10 matches, losing to No. 8 North Carolina and No. 6 Florida in overtime.
• UCLA has dominated its opponents, outscoring them 21-8 and holding them to a 0.89 GPG so far this season.
• Freshman Jessie Fleming leads the Bruins and the Pac-12 with her seven goals. She has two games with multiple scores.
• HC for the Bruins is Amanda Cromwell in her 4th season and holds a 51-12-6 record.

LAST WEEKEND
• Oregon State started Pac-12 action last Friday and fell at No. 20 California, 3-0. The Beavers remain winless at Berkeley, Calif.
• Junior goalkeeper Bella Geist grabbed a season-high eight saves.

FOLLOW THE RHODE
• OSU head coach Linus Rhode is in his ninth season.
• He has guided the Beavers to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 run in 2009.

UCLA SERIES HISTORY
• Thursday's match will mark the 22nd meeting between Oregon State and UCLA.
• UCLA holds a 17-4 all-time record in a series that started back in 1995.
• The Beavers four wins in the series all come while playing in Corvallis. (1995, 2001, 2010, 2015)
• UCLA holds an advantage in matches played in Corvallis, holding a 8-4 record.
• OSU won the last match at Paul Lorenz field with a 2-1 victory in 2015, which snapped a four-match skid.
• UCLA holds a 8-2 record in the last 10 meetings, with OSU tallying wins in 2010 and 2015.
• The Bruins saturate the series in goals, holding a 50-17 advantage against OSU.
• The Beavers are 3-13 when UCLA is ranked.
• The last time the Beavers upset the Bruins was a 3-0 win in 2010 when UCLA was ranked No. 16.

ROSTER BREAKDOWN
• OSU head coach Linus Rhode welcomes 12 players that started a match and 15 letterwinners back from the 2015-16 season.
• The squad will also welcome six newcomers to start their careers at Oregon State.
• The Beavers have 26 student-athletes on the roster, including 10-of-13 players that appeared in all-19 or 18 matches last season.
