
Beavers complete season

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Juniors Morgan Anderson (pictured), Melissa Ausman and Devin Collins did not advance to the NCAA championships in their respective events on Saturday on Day 3 of the weather-delayed NCAA West Preliminary track & field meet at the University of Kansas.
The meet concluded the season for the Beavers.
Ausman finished 19th in the discus with a mark of 166-3. That event started Friday night but was delayed by bad weather and completed on Saturday.
Collins placed 37th in the 100 hurdles in 13.81. Anderson placed 28th in the 1500 in 4:28.56.
On Friday, Collins took 25th in the 400 hurdles in 59.38, and senior Sara Almen no-heighted in the high jump.
