CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's golf team gets its final tune-up before the Pac-12 Championship when it competes at the PING/ASU Invitational Friday through Sunday in Tempe, Ariz.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament includes 14 teams and will be contested at the par-72, 6,337-yard ASU Karsten Golf Club. There will be tee times off the first and 10th holes beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Heading into the Beavers' fourth tournament of the spring season, we take a closer look at Olivia Benzin, a freshman from Tacoma, Wash., who is majoring in business.

What is your best academic achievement to date?
Graduating with honors from high school.
What do you want to do after you graduate from Oregon State?
I would like to play golf professionally.
When and where did you start playing golf?
I started playing golf when I was 4-years-old. My dad used to be a local pro and played golf for the University of Washington so he introduced me to the game and helped me as I grew up. I spent most of my time learning how to play on the executive Williams Nine Course and Meadow Park Golf Course in Tacoma, Wash.
Have you ever gotten a hole-in-one? If so, when and where for each?
I have had two hole-in-ones. They were both at Fircrest Golf Course within two days of each other.
What's your favorite golf course and why?
My favorite golf course is Nanea in Hawai'i. I love it because the course is in absolutely perfect shape and it has beautiful surroundings.
Why did you choose to attend Oregon State?
I chose to attend Oregon State because I loved the campus, academics and golf program here.
What do you like best about your teammates?
I like how we are a family, but we still push each other to be the best that we can be.
What do you like best about your coaches?
I like how my coaches push me to be the best that I can be. They are very supportive and I am thankful for how much they do to help me get better.
What do you like best about Corvallis?
I love how Corvallis is a community that is so devoted to Oregon State and has a lot of pride in the school.
Who is the most famous person you've played golf with?
Becky Morgan
Who would be in your dream foursome?
My dream foursome would include Michael Jordan, Richard Sherman and Jack Nicklaus.
If you could play a different college sport at Oregon State, what would it be and why?
I would play basketball because I grew up playing in elementary and middle school.
What is your best athletic achievement to date?
My best athletic achievement to date is being 8 under in two rounds to win my high school state championship my senior year.
What are your team and individual goals for the season?
My goals are to qualify for NCAA's as a team and to keep getting better every day.
