Bersano, Doholis Land With Teams

CORVALLIS – Former Oregon State men's soccer players Matt Bersano and Mikhail Doholis will both continue their careers at the next level, with each player landing with a team this week. Bersano has signed with Seattle Sounders 2 of the United Soccer League, while Doholis has joined Kitsap Pumas of the USL Premier Development League.
Bersano made 54 starts at the goalkeeper position in his three seasons with the Oregon State squad. He set the Oregon State single-season record for saves in his sophomore season, earning Pac-12 Second-Team honors that year. Bersano's final season with the Beavers was highlighted by a trip the NCAA Tournament, the Beavers' first in over a decade. The net-minder held a clean sheet in the opening game of the postseason, helping Oregon State earn its first ever NCAA Tournament victory.
Doholis was a standout for the Beaver throughout his four-year career, playing in 75 matches and recording six goals. The senior stepped into a leadership role during his final collegiate season, and had one of the best moments of his career in the season-opener, scoring an overtime goal to lift the Beavers over Marquette at Paul Lorenz Field.
