
Hallock, Ausman lead Beavers

Hallock placed seventh in the long jump (17-11.75, 694); eighth in the high jump (5-4.50, 783); ninth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.91, 929); 14th in the 800 (2:28.38, 713) and 19th in the shot (31-3, 498). She placed fifth among college athletes and fell just short of her school record of 3,691 points, set at last year's Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championships.
Ausman placed ninth in the weight throw in 53-11.25 and shattered her old school mark (50-11.50) by nearly three feet.
Saskia McNairy was 24th with 2,954 points in her first college pentathlon. Her top-scoring event was the 60 hurdles (10.11), with 692 points.
Kerissa D'Arpino placed 20th in the 200 meters in 25.42. Rachel Picknell bettered her PR by eight inches with a mark of 47-11.25 in the weight throw, placing her third in her flight.
Annie Sidor and Helen Anne Haun cleared 11-6.50 in the pole vault and tied for sixth in their flight; Sidor PRed by nearly three inches. Gillette Field cleared 11-0.25 and tied for 15th in her initial college competition.
The meet concludes today. Next up for the Beavers is the Portland Invitational, set for Thursday and Friday at the Oregon Convention Center.
