A native of Seattle, Wash., Payton II has done everything for the Beavers this season. He leads the team in scoring (17.5), rebounding (8.4), assists (5.3) and steals (2.4) and is the only player in the Pac-12 among the top 10 in all four categories.
The 6-foot-3 guard has scored in double figures in 17 of the 18 games this season, including six contests with 20-plus points, and has six posted double-doubles. He also broke his father's Oregon State record with at least one steal in 38 consecutive games.
