DAM Cancer Lunch & Silent Auction Set for Jan. 30
January 13, 2016 | Women's Gymnastics
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State gymnastics program and the 10.0 Booster Club are set to host the annual DAM Cancer Lunch and Silent Auction Saturday, Jan. 30. For the ninth straight year, fans, boosters and survivors are invited to join the OSU gymnastics program's efforts as it raises money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
The event, hosted by the program's booster club – the 10.0 Club – will once again take place in the Club Level of Reser Stadium and is scheduled to begin with a 1 p.m. check in. The lunch and silent auction are slated for a 1:30 p.m. start. All proceeds from the affair will be donated to the The Corvallis Clinic Foundation's Project H.E.R. (Help. Enlightenment. Resources.).
Click here for the DAM Cancer Lunch registration form. In addition, all lunch attendees will receive a general admission ticket for the DAM Cancer gymnastics meet against Arizona State later that afternoon at 4 p.m.
Project H.E.R. is a comprehensive breast health services program available to women in Benton, Linn and Lincoln counties. The program provides awareness, education and support for all women, from the time of a breast cancer diagnosis through survivorship.
Fans can support the cause by purchasing an official DAM Cancer t-shirt from The Beaver Store (across the 26th Street from Gill Coliseum). All fans that purchase the official t-shirt and wear it to any DAM Cancer event will receive a free general admission ticket to that event. Fans that already purchased an official DAM Cancer shirt for the volleyball match in the fall can also receive a ticket to future DAM Cancer events. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Corvallis Clinic Foundation's Project H.E.R.
