Beaver Basketball: The Seniors

The Oregon State men's basketball team has five seniors that have played a combined 357 games for the Beavers. They include: forward Daniel Gomis (62 games), guard Langston Morris-Walker (86), guard Gary Payton II (31), forward Jarmal Reid (88) and forward Olaf Schaftenaar (90).
Payton II was voted the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and named to the All-Pac-12 First Team and All-Defensive Team last season. He was named a preseason Second Team All-American by Athlon Magazine and selected to repeat as the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year by Lindy's Magazine.
The 2014-15 Oregon State women's basketball senior class will go down as one of the best in school history. The group includes three returning starters in Ruth Hamblin, Jamie Weisner and Deven Hunter, along with key reserves Samantha Siegner and Jen'Von'Ta Hill.
Hamblin earned AP All-America honors last season, and was voted Pac-12 Player of the Year (media) and Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year (coaches and media). Weisner joined Hamblin on the All-Pac-12 team last season, and is currently 11th in school history with 1,154 career points. Hunter has started 95 of the 98 games Oregon State has played since she joined the team, and is seventh in school history with 698 career rebounds.
