
Morgan Dennis Joins Beaver Athletics

Morgan Dennis, former All-American and national champion gymnast at the University of Alabama, has been appointed the chief of staff for Oregon State University athletics, incoming Vice President and Director of Athletics Todd Stansbury announced Wednesday.
Dennis will manage the daily operations of the director of athletics office, be the primary point person for the Beavers' athletics executive leadership team while providing support for and management of the department's strategic projects and priorities.
She arrives at OSU after serving as the director of executive operations/chief of staff for athletics at the University of Central Florida since May of 2014. In addition to managing the operations and coordinating executive staff priorities for the director of athletics office, she coordinated UCF's asset valuation and branding initiatives.
The Westampton, N.J. native is one of the most accomplished student-athletes in Southeastern Conference history, earning All-America honors eight times. She won a national title in floor exercise in 2007, won six individual SEC titles, was a three-year team captain and a four-time league academic honoree.
“Morgan is one of the top up and coming young administrators in the nation with a great future in intercollegiate athletics,” Stansbury said. “Her background as a student-athlete will be a tremendous asset for our staff, coaches, and the young men and women who represent Beaver Nation. I'm excited to welcome her to the OSU family.”
Following her academic and athletic career, which includes earning a bachelor's degree in psychology from Alabama in 2010 and a master's degree in sports management in 2011, she embarked on her professional path. Dennis spent three years in the Crimson Tides' athletic department, and among her many duties, she was a graduate assistant in the director of athletics office for the late Mal Moore and was the assistant to the director of lifeskills, coordinating community outreach activities and leadership programming for more than 450 student-athletes.
