Yoo Fires 70 In Second Round At Hawai'i

KAPALUA, Hawai'i. – Senior Anica Yoo fired a 2-under 70 in the second round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic on Tuesday to move into a tie for ninth place and the Oregon State women's golf team moved up a spot into seventh place with 18 holes to play.
Yoo was one of only six golfers in the 91-player field to shoot in red figures in the second round, as she had five birdies, a bogey and a double at the par-72, 6,022-yard Kapalua Bay Course to move into the top 10 with a 2-over 76-70--146.
Andrea Wong of UC Davis holds the clubhouse lead through 36 holes with a 5-under 139, while Paige Lee of UC Davis is second with a 4-under 140 and Caroline Inglis of Oregon is third with a 1-under 143.
The Beavers knocked nine strokes off their opening round on Tuesday, shooting a 6-over 294, to move into seventh place in the 16-team field with a 21-over 597.

UC Davis is in first place with a 1-over 577 and Texas is five strokes back in second with a 6-over 582.
The final round of the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 7:45 a.m. (HT (10:45 a.m. PT) on Wednesday and live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
Sophomore Krissy Peterson eagled the 340-yard, par-4 second hole and added a birdie on 16 to shoot a 1-over 73 in the second round. Junior Ashlee Pickerell carded a 3-over 75 and junior Chelsea Saelee finished with a 4-over 76 to make up the Beavers' second round score.
Saelee, Peterson and Pickerell are all tied for 29th place with a 7-over 151, and freshman Haley Nist is tied for 61st with a 16-over 160.
