
Peko and Barrs-Woods Invited to All-Star Games

Kyle Peko and Storm Barrs-Woods of the Oregon State University football team have been invited to play in postseason college all-star games.
The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl has invited Peko to its Saturday, Jan. 23 game at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. The contest will air live at 3 p.m. PST on ESPN2 with the week's practices leading up to the game being broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.
The La Habra, Calif., native completed his lone season at Oregon State after transferring from Cerritos College as the top tackler among defensive linemen with 45. Peko, a Pac-12 Honorable Mention selection, also added 4.5 tackles-for-loss and a team-high two blocked kicks.
Barrs-Woods has been invited to the 91st East-West Shrine Game, Saturday, Jan. 23 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. The game will air live on the NFL Network beginning at 1 p.m. PST.
The Pflugerville, Texas native was a four-year letterman running back who concluded his career with 2,674 rushing yards and 1,094 receiving yards becoming only the second Beaver in school history to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in both categories. The human development and family sciences graduate started 39 games in his OSU career.
The Beavers return to the practice field in preparation for the 2016 season Tuesday, March 8 with the annual Spring Game scheduled for Saturday April 16 at 1 p.m. in Reser Stadium.
