
Paea shines for Washington defense

Former Oregon State defensive tackle Stephen Paea had three tackles, a tackle for loss and forced a fumble in a 27-10 loss to New England on Sunday to lead Beaver alums in Week 9 of the National Football League season.

D.J.ALEXANDER (2011-14), KANSAS CITY: The rookie linebacker and the Chiefs had a bye.
DEREK ANDERSON (2001-04), CAROLINA: The quarterback was active but did not play in a 37-29 win over Green Bay on Sunday.
JOSH ANDREWS (2010-13): The Philadelphia offensive lineman played but had no stats in a 34-28 overtime win over Dallas on Sunday night.
BRANDON BROWNER (2002-03), NEW ORLEANS: Brandon had three tackles in a 34-28 overtime loss to Tennessee on Sunday.
BRANDIN COOKS (2011-13), NEW ORLEANS: The 2013 Biletnikoff Award winner had four receptions for 71 yards, with a long of 38 yards for a touchdown, in a 34-28 overtime loss to Tennessee on Sunday.
SCOTT CRICHTON (2011-13), MINNESOTA: The second-year defensive end played but had no stats in a 21-18 overtime win over St. Louis on Sunday.
DWAN EDWARDS (2000-03), CAROLINA: The veteran defensive tackle was not active for a 37-29 win over Green Bay on Sunday.
OBUM GWACHAM (2011-14), NEW ORLEANS: The defensive end recovered a fumble in a 34-28 overtime loss to Tennessee on Sunday.
