DAM Cancer Breakfast Set for February 7

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State gymnastics program and the 10.0 Club are set to host the eighth annual DAM Cancer Breakfast and Silent Auction Sat., Feb. 7. Fans, boosters and survivors are once again invited to join the Beavers' coaching staff as they raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
This amazing event is once against hosted by the program's booster club – the 10.0 Club – in the Club Level of Reser Stadium. The event is scheduled to begin with 9:30 a.m. check-in and the breakfast and silent auction starting at 10 a.m. All proceeds from the event will be donated to The Corvallis Clinic Foundation's Project H.E.R. (Help. Enlightenment. Resources.). Click here for a DAM Cancer Breakfast registration form. In addition, all fans in attendance at the DAM Cancer Breakfast and Silent Auction will receive a general admission ticket for the DAM Cancer gymnastics meet slated for that afternoon at 2 p.m.
Project H.E.R. is a comprehensive breast health services program available to women in Benton, Linn and Lincoln counties. The program provides awareness, education and support for all women, from the time of a breast cancer diagnosis through survivorship.
Saturday morning's event kicks off a week of “pink” activities for OSU Athletics. The gymnastics team hosts Arizona Sat., Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. and the women's basketball team takes on Arizona State Sat., Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. for their annual DAM Cancer events.
Fans are encouraged to support the cause by purchasing an official DAM Cancer t-shirt from Beaver Authentics at its location in Gill Coliseum. All fans that purchase the official t-shirt and wear it to either DAM Cancer event will receive free general admission tickets to the events. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Corvallis Clinic Foundation's Project H.E.R.
