Game Notes
• Weather at game time was 90 degrees and partly cloudy. Wind was from the Northeast at 10 mph.
• The game aired on CBS Sports Network. Matt McConnell was the play-by-play announcer while Adam Archuleta was the analyst and Cassie Gallo was the sideline reporter.
• Oregon State won the coin toss and elected the defer. Hawai'i elected to receiver and defended the south end zone.
• Oregon State captains were Sean Mannion, Ryan Murphy, Michael Doctor and Chris Brown.
• Oregon State wore its all white uniforms with white helmets. Hawai'i wore dark green helmets, black jerseys with green shoulders, black pants and green stripes and white piping.
• Attendance for the game was 29,050.
Oregon State Team Notes
• The Beavers improved to 7-3 all-time against Hawai'i. Oregon State has now won four straight against UH.
• The win marked the 90th all-time for head coach Mike Riley.
• Terron Ward rushed for more than 100 yards against Hawai'i. It is the fourth straight game OSU has had a 100-yard rusher.
Oregon State Individual Notes
• Roman Sapolu started at left guard in place of Garrett Weinreich. It is Sapolu's first start since suffering a season-ending foot injury last year against Hawai'i.
• Ricky Ortiz, Jalen Grimble and Lavonte Barnett all made the first start of their careers.
• Jabral Johnson's first quarter forced fumble was the first of his career … the recovery by Siale Hautau is the first of his career as well.
• Sean Mannion finished with three touchdown passes. That gives him 72 for his career, passing WSU's Jason Gesser (1999-2002) and tying Carson Palmer (USC, 1998-2002) for 11th in Pac-12 Conference history.
• Mannion threw for 300-plus yards for the 18th time in his career.
• Victor Bolden posted 6 receptions for 86 yards in the first half, both were single game career-highs. He finished the game with 11 catches for 119 yards - his first 100-yard game of his career.
• Bolden's 8-yard TD catch in the 3rd quarter was the first of his career.
• Richard Mullaney's touchdown in the first quarter was his first score of the season and the fifth of his career.
• Mannion connected with Connor Hamlett for a 5-yard touchdown in the 1st quarter. It is the eighth time the duo has hooked up for a touchdown in their careers, tying for 9th in OSU history.
• Terron Ward's pair of first half touchdown totes were his first of the season. They are the 13th and 14th of his career.
• It is the third time in Ward's career he has rushed for two TDs. Both previous games came against California (2012 & 2013).
• Ward also rushed for 124 yards. It is the 4th 100-yard yard game in his career.
• Redshirt freshmen Jordan Villamin and Hunter Jarmon each made the first catch of their careers in the 3rd quarter.
• Obum Gwacham, who converted from receiver to defensive end during Spring Ball, recorded the first two sacks of his career.
• D.J. Alexander recorded 2.0 tackles-for-loss tying his career-best set against Wisconsin in 2012.
• Steven Nelson registered his first interception of the season against Hawai'i for the second year in a row.
