- Weather at game time was 66 degrees and cloudy
- The game aired on Pac-12 Networks. J.B. Long was the announcer, while Anthony Herron was the analyst and Drea Avent was the sideline reporter.
- Oregon State's captains were Sean Mannion, Ryan Murphy, Michael Doctor and Terron Ward.
- Portland State won the coin toss and chose to defer. Oregon State elected to receive, defending the north endzone.

- Oregon State started nine seniors on defense, the most since modern-day history/records for starters began in 1976 (Siale Hautau, Bud Delva, D.J. Alexander, Dylan Wynn, Jabral Johnson, Michael Doctor, Steven Nelson, Ryan Murphy and Tyrequek Zimmerman).
- The five turnovers forced are the most by the Beavers since they forced six vs. Washington State on Oct. 12, 2013

- With 328 passing yards today, Sean Mannion now has 10,764 career yards, moving him into sixth in Pac-12 history. He moved past Rudy Carpenter (ASU, 10,491), Andrew Walter (ASU, 10,492), Matt Leinart (USC, 10,693), and Cade McNown (UCLA, 10,708).
- With one touchdown pass, Sean Mannion is one shy of tying Jason Gesser (WSU – 1999-2002) for 12th in Pac-12 history with 69 career touchdown passes.
- Garrett Owens converted his first career field goal attempt, hitting a 25-yarder with 8:04 to play in the first quarter.
- Storm Woods' 50-yard first quarter rush was the longest of his career. It was the longest by a Beaver since Terron Ward went for 53 yards against Arizona State on Nov. 3, 2012.
- With 126 rushing yards today, Storm Woods is now 12th in Oregon State history with 1,543 career rushing yards. He passed Pat Chaffey (1,421), J.D. Stewart (1,463), Terry Baker (1,503) Dwight Wright (1,519) and James Fields (1,535).
- Storm Woods' 126 rushing yards are the most he has had at Reser Stadium in her career, and the most he has recorded since he rushed for 118 yards against Texas on Dec. 29, 2012/161 yards at Arizona on Sept. 29, 2012.
- Victor Bolden's 29-yard second-quarter reception is the longest of his career.
- Sean Mannion's second-quarter rushing touchdown was the second rushing TD of his career, and his first since Oct. 15, 2011 against BYU.
- Connor Hamlett's 37-yard first-quarter reception is the longest of his career.
- Tyrequek Zimmerman's third-quarter interception was the first of his career.
- Tyrequek Zimmerman became the first Beaver with two interceptions in a game since Rashaad Reynolds had two against Washington State on Oct. 12, 2013.
- Garret Owens' five field goals made are the most by a Beaver kicker in his debut in modern-day history.
- Garrett Owens' five field goals made tie him for second in the Oregon State record book (Serna three times: 2004, 2005, 2007).
- Garrett Owens' seven field goal attempts marked the most in an Oregon State single-game.
