UCF Challenge - Final Results 
SORRENTO, Fla. - The Oregon State women's golf team concluded its first tournament of the spring in 18th place at the UCF Challenge on Tuesday, and junior Seshia Telles led the Beavers with a tie for 36th.
The Beavers finished the three-day, 54hole event with a 64-over 305-312-311--928 at the par-71, 6,374-yard RedTail Golf Club. North Carolina won the team title with a 10-under 854.
"Well we took a hit this week," Oregon State head coach Risë Alexander said. "The positive is that we have several things to work on and those things became glaringly clear this week. Another positive is that we got to play in some good conditions against some great competition. This should be a wake-up call to this team. This is the game of golf and mentally we will find a way to bounce back from this."
Telles shot a 4-over 76 on Tuesday and finished the tournament in a tie for 36th place with an 8-over 73-75-76--224. Freshman Lauren Sewell each shot a 18-over 234 for a tie for 77th place, as Saelee went 79-78-77 over the three days and Sewell carded three 78's.
Sophomore Anica Yoo finished in a tie for 91st place with a 23-over 75-81-83--239, while senior Chelsey Lind shot her best round of the tourney on Tuesday to finish in 97th place with a 31-over 83-84-80--247.
The Beavers get right back to action when they compete at the Peg Barnhard Invitational in Stanford, Calif., Saturday and Sunday.
