As a Senior (2005): Competed as a three-event performer for the first time in her career in 2005... earned a share of the individual title on bars against Cal with a 9.825... set a career-high 9.875 on the floor at Cal State Fullerton... season-high 9.825 on bars was accomplished four times... notched season-high 9.85 on beam at the Salbasgeon Suites Invitational to place second... matched that 9.85 on beam at the LadyBack Classic and again at the Pac-10 Championships... missed the UCLA meet with muscle spasms in her neck... "hit" 31-36 routines in 2005.
As a Junior (2004): Competed on bars in every meet and was in the beam lineup in nine meets... Averaged 9.834 on beam, second best on the team... Averaged 9.798 on bars... Had a career-high 9.95 on bars twice for the team's best score on the event in 2004... Scored 9.90 or better five times on the event... Tied for sixth with a 9.90 at the Pacific-10 Championships and won the event in three other meets... Had a career-high 9.925 on beam at the Pacific-10 Championships, where she tied for seventh... Scored 9.825 or better on eight routines... Honorable mention Pacific-10 All-Academic Team selection.
As a Sophomore (2003): Officially competed twice on bars, three times on beam and once on floor, although she performed several exhibitions throughout the season... Had a career-high 9.875 on bars against Utah, with a 9.825 against Cal in her other official bar routine... Including five exhibitions, her season average was 9.782... Scored a season-best 9.90 on an exhibition beam routine against Denver and Seattle Pacific... The score would have been a career-high had it officially counted... Scored a 9.65 against Utah in her first collegiate performance on floor... Earned the team's Clutch Performance Award for the second year in a row... This time, she earned it for her role in OSU's upset over No. 3 Utah... Originally expected to compete only on bars, but found out hours before the meet that she also would compete on beam and floor because a teammate was sick.
As a Freshman (2002): Competed on bars in 13 of 14 meets... Had a career high 9.825 at the Shanico Inn-vitational and had a 9.80 at the NCAA West Regional Championships... Scored a 9.75 or better five other times... Turned in a big clutch performance on beam at the NCAA Championships... Had a career-high 9.80 at that meet in just her fifth performance on the event... Competed on beam in OSU's first four meets, but had a fall on all four routines... Did not compete the event again until NCAAs, when she filled in for the injured Annie Campbell... Earned the team's Clutch Performance Award for that routine.
Pre-Oregon State: Placed second on bars at the 2000 Level 10 Junior Olympic nationals and was the Region 4 all-around champion that same year... A knee injury kept her from competing in regionals and nationals in 2001... Five-time J.O. qualifier... Also competed at the high school level and was a two-time North Dakota state all-around champion... Was a first team all-state selection all four years in high school... Coached by Curt Sherbrooke at both the high school and club level.
Personal: Born in Bismarck... Daughter of Wayne and Cindy Goehring... Has an older brother, Mitch... Merchandising management major... Graduated from Century High School, where she was a two-year member of National Honor Society... Chose OSU because "I liked the area and the people. Everyone made me feel right at home."
