In February, Tasha became the 11th gymnast in Oregon State history to score a perfect 10.0 when she achieved the feat on the floor exercise against BYU. Tasha scored 9.9 or better six of the 10 times she took the floor in `08. She scored 9.9 on the floor exercise to tie teammate Mandi Rodriguez for the NCAA West Regional event title. She scored 9.9 on vault and 9.95 on the floor to secure Pac-10 titles on each for the second time in her career. In total, Tasha notched 12 event titles in 2008 including five on vault and six on the floor. She was scratched from the beam and floor lineups in the third meet of the year against Arizona and needed three more meets before making a comeback on beam and floor. She never did return to the bars lineup competing three events for most of the rest of the season. Earned Pac-10 Specialist of the Week (Feb. 15) and Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week (Feb. 22). Tasha was an All-Pac-10 first team selection on vault and floor in '08.
Tasha earned first team All-America status on vault following a 9.90 at the NCAA Championships. During Individual Finals, Tasha's first vault scored as the third-best vault of the competition but a fall on her second vault left her 11th in the nation. Tasha missed the start of the season with a knee injury suffered the day before the team left for Florida. After missing two meets, she nailed a vault at Arizona to score 9.875 to get her season started. Tasha showed minimal rust with a 39.100 in the all-around in her second meet of the season and has scored below 39-points just once this season. Tasha scored four career-bests at Washington in February scoring 9.925 on vault, 9.850 on bars and 9.950 on floor to total 39.550. She earned Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week honors following her performance at UW. Tasha has finished the season particularly strong as the Beavers' top all-arounder at Pac-10 Championships (39.475) and NCAA Regionals (39.350). Tasha "hit" 42 out of 44 routines in 2007 with no bigger score than her floor routine at regionals. Needing a 9.900 to propel the Beavers to the NCAA Championships, Tasha came through with a 9.925 routine to earn the South Central Regional floor title. Tasha tallied seven individual titles in 2007, four on floor, two on beam and one in the all-around.
Tasha missed four meets in the middle of the season due to turf toe (three meets) and ankle (one meet) injuries. Tasha, who finally got healthy in time for the end of the season, won Pac-10 titles on vault and floor in her first meet back in the all-around competition. Tasha, whose hip-hop floor exercise quickly became a crowd favorite around Gill Coliseum, set her career-high on floor with 9.950 in the Salbasgeon Suites Invitational and then matched it at Pac-10s. Her 9.925 on vault at the Pac-10 Championships was also a season-high. In her last vault of the season at Nationals (9.850) just missed moving on to the Individual Finals but still earned her Second Team All-American status on the event. At the conclusion of the season, Tasha was recognized at OSU's Bennys Awards banquet as a Co-Female Newcomer of the Year.
