AS A JUNIOR (1999): Team co-captain... Competed on beam in every meet but the season opener and made the vault lineup in every meet but three... Had the team's best average on beam with 9.775, including scores of 9.90 or better in the last three meets of the year... Was named to the All-Pac-10 Team on beam... Posted a career-high of 9.925 on beam against Utah to tie for second place... Three weeks later, she turned in another 9.925, placing third at the NCAA Region 1 meet... Placed fourth with a 9.90 at the Pac-10 Championships... Had four first-place finishes on beam (vs. ASU, Cal, Nebraska/BYU, and at the Shanico Inn-vitational)... Averaged a 9.653 on vault, highlighted by a season-high 9.775 against Utah and at the Pac-10 Championships... Was named an honorable mention Pacific-10 All-Academic pick.
AS A SOPHOMORE (1998): Competed on vault, beam and floor in every meet... Named Oregon State's Most Consistent Gymnast as well as most consistent on beam and most consistent on floor... Tied her career-high of 9.850 on beam to place fifth at the Shanico Inn-vitational... Also tied her career-high on floor with a 9.80 routine at the Pac-10 Championship to tie for 14th place... Scored 9.750 or higher on vault six times... Her season-best on vault was a 9.825, to place fourth in a dual meet at BYU... In a dual meet against Arizona, placed second on vault (9.775), third on beam (9.775) and third on floor (9.725)... Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention selection.
AS A FRESHMAN (1997): Made the lineup on vault, beam and floor, competing in all three events in every meet in her first season... Placed first with a season-best 9.850 on beam in a dual meet with Arizona State... Had a season-best 9.850 on vault at the Michigan State meet... Best floor performance came with a 9.800 against Utah... Averaged just under 9.70 in all three events.
PRE-OREGON STATE: An all-arounder, graduated from Waller High School with a 3.80 GPA... Signed with OSU in November 1995... Trained at Cypress Academy in Houston under coach Deana Parish... Placed second at the Level 10 Nationals for club gymnastics... Took first all-around at both the state and regional competitions... Recruited by several of the top programs in the nation, including Alabama, Penn State, UCLA, Florida and Michigan... Sat out a year before coming to OSU due to wrist surgery.
