AS A SOPHOMORE (1999): Was named the team's most consistent beam performer by the coaches and was one of the most consistent overall gymnasts on the team... Had the team's second-best averages on beam (9.741) and bars (9.702) and had no falls on either event all season... Made the lineup on both those events in every meet but one, when she was out with an illness... Scored a career-high 9.90 on bars at the Pac-10 Championships to place fourth... Had never scored above a 9.75 before then... On beam, her top effort was a career-high 9.875 at Washington... Also scored a 9.825 on beam in three other meets... Competed on floor in six meets, with her best score of 9.75 coming at Nebraska.
AS A FRESHMAN (1998): Competed on bars, beam and floor in every event and went all-around in three meets... Was the only freshman to compete as an all-arounder... Her most consistent event was bars, averaging a 9.579... Scored a season-best 9.725 four times on bars, against Arizona, Stanford and at the Shanico Inn-vitational and NCAA West Regional... Her best score on any event came on the balance beam, with a 9.775 to tie for fifth against Utah... Scored a career-high 9.75 on floor twice, against Stanford and BYU... Vaulted in three meets, with a season-best 9.425 at the Shanico... Her top all-around performance came with a 38.425 at the Shanico.
