OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY: (2007-2008) In track competed in three meets including a third place finish in the 5,000-meters at the Willamette Opener earning a personal best time (18:40.77).
EAST LINN CHRISTIAN ACADEMY/ SWEET HOME HS: Was a cross country varsity member for four years... sophomore-senior year was named most valuable runner... qualified for state cross country all four years... coached by Gary Timms for three years and Billy Snow for one... in track was a varsity member all four years... was named most improved one season and most valuable runner two times... qualified for state two times... as a sophomore earned 2nd team all-league state and 3rd team all-league state as a junior in cross country... as a freshman team earned 3rd place at state, 5th as a sophomore and 4th as a junior... was on the honor roll all four years of high school.
PERSONAL: Majoring in business contemplating a career as an entrepreneur... parents are Genevra and Glenn, both self-employed... has three sisters: Shavonne (22), Devynn (21) and Cassandra (19)... ran with sisters Devynn and Cassandra starting in grade school through high school and were the top runners for their teams... hobbies include mule riding, swimming Kenpo karate and scrap booking... chose Oregon State for "the beautiful campus and to run for a great team!"
