Game Notes
• Game time weather was mostly cloudy at 62 degrees. Wind was 7 mph from the North, Northeast.
• The game aired on Fox College Sports and KBYU-TV. Dave McCann did play-by-play with Mike Lamb serving as analyst. Robbie Bullough was on the sidelines.
• Oregon State captains at the start of the game were Clayton York, Cameron Collins, James Rodgers and Lance Mitchell.
• Oregon State won lost the coin toss. BYU elected to kick off to start the game from the South end zone.
• Oregon State wore orange uniform tops with black pants while BYU was in white tops with blue pants.
Oregon State Team Notes
• Oregon State blocked its fifth kick of the season in the second quarter when Scott Crichton blocked a 50-yarder. The five blocked kicks are most since 2001 team had five. The 1998 team had its most under head coach Mike Riley, 10.
• BYU connected on a 33-yard field goal in the third quarter. It marked the first field goal against the Beavers this season. Opponents had been 0-for-6 before the make (including 0-for-2 in Saturday's game).
Oregon State Individual Notes
• Jordan Poyer intercepted his third pass of the season in the second quarter and fifth of his career. He returned it 51 yards for a touchdown – the second longest of his career after he returned one 65 yards for a score against USC in 2010.
• Poyer's second-quarter interception tied him for the Pac-12 lead, dependent on the rest of the day's results.
• Sean Mannion's first-quarter 1-yard sneak for a touchdown marked his first career rushing touchdown.
• Brandin Cooks' 59-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter was his first career score of any kind. It also marked his longest reception of the season.
• Scott Crichton recovered his first career fumble in the second quarter.
• Crichton also blocked his first career field goal to end the second quarter.
• Kevin Frahm forced his first fumble of the season and second of his career in the second quarter.
• Trevor Romaine set the Oregon State record for touchbacks in a season with two Saturday. He has seven on the year.
• Jovan Stevenson scored on a 2-yard rush with 23 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. It was his second score of the season and third of his career.
