Women's Golf Moves Up Two Spots At Pac-10/SEC Challenge

STANFORD, Calif. - The Oregon State women's golf team improved its score by 16 strokes on Saturday and moved up two spots at the Pac-10/SEC Challenge.
"It was a better day today," Oregon State head coach Risë Alexander said. "We definitely managed the course better with the exception of a poor start on the first three holes. In spite of that, we fought back and played well coming in. The season has just started and we are young and learning every day."
Every Oregon State golfer equaled or improved their round from Friday, led by freshman Seshia Telles and sophomore Chelsey Lind who both shot a 75 on Saturday.
The final round begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday at the par-71, 6,103-yard Stanford Golf Course. Live scoring throughout the tournament will be available at www.golfstat.com.
