Game Notes
Game time weather was sunny at 72 degrees. Wind was 4 mph from the East, Northeast.
Attendance for the game was 45,409, which is the largest crowd this season, surpassing the 45,379 against Louisville. It is the fourth-largest crowd, regardless of opponent, in school history.
The game aired live on FSN Northwest with Rich Burk doing play-by-play, while Steve Preece did color. Jason Gesser was the sideline analyst.
Oregon State captains at the start of the game were James Dockery, Stephen Paea, Gabe Miller and Anthony Watkins.
Arizona State won the coin toss and elected to receive to start the game. Oregon State kicked off toward the North End Zone. It is the first time this season the Beavers lost the coin toss.
Oregon State wore all black uniforms while Arizona State was clad in white tops and maroon pants.
The 2001 Fiesta Bowl team was honored during the game. More than 30 players from that team were in attendance at the game.

The Beavers opened Pacific-10 Conference play with a win for the first time since 2003, when OSU defeated Arizona State, 45-17.
Arizona State's first-quarter touchdown at 12:41 of the first quarter was the quickest score against OSU to start a game. The previous quick score was the 10:15 of the first quarter by Boise State.
Justin Kahut's first-quarter field goal ensured that the Beavers have scored in the first quarter of each of their four games this season.
Jacquizz Rodgers' fourth-quarter touchdown run was Oregon State's first score in the fourth quarter this season.

Oregon State played its first home game in the month of October, and will not return to Reser Stadium until hosting California on Oct. 30. It is the longest stretch between home games for the Beavers since 2005 when OSU hosted a game against Washington State on Oct. 1 and then took on Arizona Oct. 29 at Reser Stadium.

Ryan Katz finished the game with 260 yards passing, more than half of the 460 yards he had accrued over the first three games combined.
Jacquizz Rodgers ran for two touchdowns, giving him 38 for his career (and six in 2010). The 38 rushing touchdowns ties him with Yvenson Bernard for third-most in OSU history.
Jacquizz Rodgers has now scored at least two rushing touchdowns in 11 career games. And twice in four games in 2010.
Jacquizz Rodgers has now scored at least one rushing TD in all four games this season and in 24 of his 28 career games. Quizz has scored in 11 straight games - and has 20 touchdowns during that stretch.
