Game Notes
· Captains for OSU at the start of the game were Sean Canfield, Keaton Kristick, Stephen Paea and Suaesi Tuimaunei. OSU won the coin toss and elected to defer.
Oregon State Team Notes
· Oregon State now has a five game winning streak in Berkeley.
· Oregon State has outscored its opponents 266-85 in the 1st quarter over the last 49 games, 231-61 in the last 24. The Beavers have allowed just 17 points (USC-7, ARIZ-7, ASU-3) in the last 10 first quarters combined, dating back to last year.
· OSU's first score of the 2nd quarter came on an 8-play, 90-yard drive - the longest scoring drive of the season for the Beavers.
· The Beavers are now 6-3 overall on the season and are bowl eligible for the fourth consecutive season, a school record.
· Oregon State has won seven out of its last 13 games against ranked opponents, four of which were on the road.
Oregon State Individual Notes
· Matt LaGrone and Gabe Miller started at defensive end for the first time this year. It was LaGrone's first career start and Miller's first start on defense - he started seven games at tight end prior to his switch to the defensive side of the ball in the spring.
· Marcus Wheaton made his first career start.
· Keaton Kristick's first quarter sack was his first of the season.
· Sean Canfield's first quarter TD run was the first of the season.
· Jordan Bishop's second quarter TD reception was the first of his career.
· Joe Halahuni caught six passes for a career high 128 yards, it was his second career 100 yard receiving game.
