BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Michel Morandais had 21 points and David Harrison had 18 points and 16 rebounds as Colorado defeated Oregon State 81-66 on Monday night.
A technical foul against Harrison with 16:40 remaining seemed to ignite Colorado after a lethargic first half.
Harrison was whistled for pushing David Lucas after Harrison hit a basket giving Colorado a 39-37 lead. Chris Stephens sank two free throws to tie the game at 39, but Colorado then went on a 13-4 run and never trailed again.
Oregon State got to within eight with 9:16 remaining, but the Buffaloes put the game away with 10 straight points, including five from Blair Wilson.
Wilson finished with 11 points and Jayson Obazuaye had 10.
Stephens had 15 points for Oregon State and Lucas added 10.
Oregon State led by 29-24 with 6:13 remaining in the first half, which saw 11 lead changes. The Beavers were up by 33-32 at halftime and led 37-34 with 18:05 to go in second half, but Wilson's 3-pointer tied the game at 37.
