Sarah Hoechelin took on the role of Director of Operations for the Oregon State squad prior to the 2022 season.
Hoechelin's first season in the position proved to be one of the most successful in program history, as the Beavers made the Women's College World Series for the second time ever. Oregon State ended the season ranked No. 8 in the nation, and for their efforts, Oregon State's staff was named NFCA Pacific Region Coaching Staff of the Year. OSU finished the campaign with a record of 39-22, in a season that included a 17-game winning streak.
