Chad joins the staff for the 2014-15 season as a volunteer assistant coach.
He had 113 career wins at 197 pounds and at heavyweight in a four-year OSU career that concluded in 2013. He won the Pac-12 Championship at heavyweight, and competed at two NCAA Championships, and earned the "Team Leadership Award' as a senior. He graduated in 2013 with a degree in sociology.
In 2009, Chad finished second at the FILA Junior National Championship and third at the Junior FILA World Team Trials at 96 kilograms. He won the 96-kilogram title in 2008 and took second at the Junior World Team Trials.
Chad was a three-time district and state champion at Dayton, a two-time Greco and Freestyle state runner-up, the team captain his senior year and a member of the National Honor Society and the Honor Roll.
