Travis Pascoe, an All-American and four-time qualifier for the NCAA Championships, begins hisseventh overall season as volunteer assistant coach at Oregon State. He spent the 2011-12 season as an assistant coach for Arizona State, and was a volunteer assistant at OSU from 2006-11.
Pascoe came to Corvallis after spending the 2005-06 season as an assistant coach at Fresno State. He has also coached as an instructor at camps and clinics.
While wrestling for Nebraska, Pascoe placed sixth in the 2005 NCAA Championships at 184 pounds. He also earned a Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate title en route to 101 wins as a Cornhusker. When he concluded his career, he ranked 13th on the school's all-time wins list.
Pascoe attended high school at Gonzaga Prep in Spokane, Wash., where he had a career record of 138-8 and won three state titles at 189 pounds. Pascoe also earned All-America honors while in high school.
The former All-American continued his wrestling career while at Oregon State, training for the world championships and Olympic Trials.
