Taylor Whitter joined the Oregon State Sports Medicine Staff in December 2020 and serves as the primary athletic trainer for the Beavers’ cross country and track & field team.
Whitter comes to OSU from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, where her primary focus was working with the Field Hockey, M/W Cross Country, and M/W Track & Field programs. Prior to UMass she completed an athletic training fellowship at Harvard University during the 2017-2018 academic year by participating in research, orthopedic and general medical clinic hours, as well as working with the men's water polo, M/W cross country, M/W track & field, and M/W tennis teams.
Whitter graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. She then completed her master's degree in advanced athletic training from North Dakota State University while enrolled in their post-professional graduate athletic training program in 2017. As a graduate assistant athletic trainer for NDSU, she served as the athletic trainer for the women’s volleyball team.
A native of Colorado Springs, CO, she now resides in Albany with her husband, Caleb, and their two Alaskan Malamutes.
