Maureen Tremblay joined the OSU Athletics as the Assistant Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Development in January of 2023. A former track & field/cross country student-athlete at Oregon State, Tremblay returns to OSU with expertise as an athletic administrator focused in leadership development and student-athlete support.
Tremblay oversees the strategic vision for student-athlete development programs and focus on the holistic support of all student-athletes, from transition into college to graduation. With the help of the student-athlete development unit, this support prioritizes professional, leadership, and personal development, as well as community service and engagement.
Prior to her return to OSU, Tremblay was the Associate Athletics Director/Chief of Staff for Georgia Tech Athletics. In this role, she provided oversight to strategic initiatives outlined by the director of athletics, including leading the implementation and monitoring the advancement the athletics strategic plan. Tremblay previous roles at Georgia Tech included Coordinator for the Total Person Program from 2017- 2019, and Director of Executive Operations from 2019- 2020, where she managed the day-to-day operations of the executive leadership team and director of athletics. She has also worked as a high school educator and coach at Capital High School in Helena, Montana (2020-2022) and in student-athlete development at Clemson (2016-2017).
Tremblay earned bachelor’s degrees in exercise and sports science and health education with a minor in psychology from Oregon State University in 2016. As a Beaver, she was a three-year captain for the cross country/track and field teams, a two-time Most Inspirational Track Athlete award recipient and OSU’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2016. She was awarded the PAC-12 Post-Graduate Scholarship award upon graduation for a master’s in Athletic Leadership at Clemson University. She is a member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) and Women Leaders in College Sports.
